You agree that you will not use, nor will you allow or authorise any third party to use, the website for any purpose that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, fraudulent, obscene or in any other way inappropriate or in a way which conflicts with the website or the services.
Currency and Pricing
All amounts stated on our website are in Australian Dollars. We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time.
GST
All prices quoted on this website include a 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless specified otherwise.
Booking policies
Public sessions in studio
There is no fee to rebook or cancel when doing so at least 48 hours prior to the session start time. Follow the link in your confirmation email should you need to rebook. Rebooking requests made within 48 hours of the session start time will be charged a $20 per seat fee. Rebookings and cancellations are processed as a store coupon and applied to your user account. Refunds are not allowed and will be granted only under extenuating circumstances at the sole discretion of Cork & Chroma.
Public sessions online
We are unable to rebook, cancel or refund an online session booking as access to your session will be provided to you immediately upon booking.
Private events in studio
Private events are secured with a $325 deposit. A minimum number of painters (paid seats) is required and is displayed during booking.
You may rebook or cancel a private event when doing so more than 4 weeks in advance of your session; notification via email is required and there is a $50 fee. You agree to forfeit your deposit (or an amount equal to the deposit if paid in full) if you rebook or cancel within 4 weeks of your session; notification via email is required.
Full payment is due 7 days prior to your session. Withholding full payment will result in cancellation of your event and you agree to forfeit your deposit if full payment is not received at least 7 days prior to your event.
COVID-19 Government-imposed Lockdowns
When a public session or private event is cancelled due to a Government-imposed lockdown, a voucher will be issued for the full value of seat/s purchased. The voucher is valid for three years from the issue date. Private event bookings will have the ability to reschedule at no charge or have the deposit amount provided as a voucher. Refunds will not be issued.
Refunds and exchanges on Products from the Gift Shop
Subject to the following clause, and to the fullest extent permitted by the Australian Consumer Law, Cork & Chroma gives no warranty in respect of the Products listed in the Shop.
All Products come with non-excludable warranties and guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law in that they are reasonably fit for their usual purpose, are of acceptable quality, and match any description or sample. If Cork & Chroma breaches any of these non-excludable warranties or guarantees, you are entitled, at your option, to a refund or replacement of the relevant Products.
Cork & Chroma is unable to refund or exchange your Products if you make an error when ordering online, or you change your mind.
To arrange a refund or exchange of Products breaching a non-excludable warranty or guarantee:
- Email us at paint@corkandchroma.com.au with your order number and a description of the fault.
- Once we have confirmed your refund or exchange, we will provide a postage label for you to return the Product to us.
- Once we have received your Product, we will process your refund or ship the replacement Product to you.
Passwords and logins
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your passwords and login details and for all activities carried out under your password and login.
Indemnification for loss or damage
You agree to indemnify us and hold us harmless from and against any and all liabilities or expenses arising from or in any way related to your use of this website or the services or information offered on this website, including any liability or expense arising from all claims, losses, damages (actual and consequential), suits, judgments, litigation costs and solicitors fees of every kind and nature incurred by you or any third parties through you.
Intellectual property and copyrights
We hold the copyright to the content of this website, including all uploaded files, layout design, data, graphics, articles, file content, codes, news, tutorials, videos, reviews, forum posts and databases contained on the website or in connection with the services.
