Like a Santa stocking filled with joyous surprises, December is packed full to bursting with festive fun; we’ve got public sessions and private events galore, creative Christmas gifts and in-studio challenges, and brand new events and offerings. Paint and Sip in a Box: Limited festive edition

Our Paint and Sip in a Box has taken a visit to the North Pole, and the elves have tinkered with its contents. Now, not only do you have everything you need (it says so on the box!) to create your own acrylic-on-canvas masterpiece from home, but you have a sprinkling of Christmassy bonus additions! All orders made between now and December 23rd will receive an extra 20 x 25 canvas and step-by-step instructions for our seasonal painting, Fir Tree, in addition to your choice of painting. Bits and Pieces: Uncorked

Look out Sydney, our exciting and exclusive new hens party offering is coming in hot! In our ‘Bits & Pieces’ sessions we collaborate with certified Somatic Sexologist and Sex and Intimacy Coach Alice Child to create genitalia-inspired artworks. These sessions are the perfect blend of painting, sex education, and body positivity; a one-of-a-kind experience that celebrates bodies and genitalia in all their beautiful diversity. Get creative and express yourself as we learn more about our bodies and what gives us pleasure. This is the sex ed we never got at school, and will surely make for an unforgettable hens party! December Special Events

Paint your inner queen this December in our Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne studios! On Friday 16th December you can join the brilliant Bebe Gunn in Brisbane (but hop to it – only two tickets left!) or glamour bug Etcetera Etcetera in Sydney for a night out of fabulous fun. In Melbourne, those lucky enough to have already snaffled up tickets will have the chance to farewell our Sydney super queen, Art Simone, in her last studio rendezvous with Cork & Chroma (sniff) for a while. Thanks for all the heart, Art, that you’ve brought into our Sydney studios over the years – you are a true star!

We’ll also be painting at Distillery Road Market in Eagleby to bring you a snack-tastic evening of painting, sipping, and eating. Enjoy a drink upon arrival, then paint along to our summery ‘Palm on Peach’ painting led by one of our Cork & Chroma artists. If you’re feeling peckish, peruse the markets, restaurants and food trucks to see what strikes your fancy! We recommend arriving a little early to allow browsing time before you settle in to paint away the evening in this lovely industrial space.

For those of you with little ones, we’ve got family friendly painting sessions running this December in our Brisbane studios. We have an All Ages session on Sunday 4th December, where we’ll be taking an ocean deep dive to paint our ‘Ray of Light’ piece. On Wednesday 21st December we’ll be painting our ultra cute ‘Fineapple’ for our family paint session, which is sure to be a hit with the kids these school holidays! Rally the troops and get ready to make some new memories with your family.

‘Merry Cork & Chroma’ Painting Challenge

Last, but certainly not least, we’ve got a little in-studio challenge for guests and artists alike, and it’s pretty jolly simple: inject a little Christmas spirit into your painting! Let’s fan the festive fire and see what ignites – maybe your palm tree will be strung with fairy lights, or you’ll have a surfin’ Santa, or perhaps a gift or two hidden in your scene.
