Paint and Sip with Cork & Chroma in Brisbane

Welcome to Cork & Chroma’s paint and sip studios in Brisbane.

We’ve been painting and sipping in Brisbane for more than eight years now, and if there’s one thing we know, it’s that paint and wine equals a really fun time. Wine glass in one hand and paintbrush in the other, you will take on the basics of painting with acrylics on canvas in a relaxed and social setting. Book into your favourite painting from our calendar, BYO favourite bevy, and settle in for some painting, sipping, and singing along to our famous Cork & Chroma playlist. Each session is led by our experienced team of artists and runs for approximately three hours, at the end of which you will leave with your own finished artwork to take home.

In addition to public sessions, we host private paint and sip sessions to celebrate all kinds of events, such as hens parties, work parties, and birthday parties. These can be held in studio, where you have the entire space to yourself, or online, with the option of pre-purchasing art supplies and having them delivered to your doorstep. We also offer ‘pop up’ events, where we bring the Cork & Chroma experience out into the community.

Our flagship Montague Road studio sits right in the arts precinct of South Brisbane. Great news: once you’ve finished your painting, you can swing right by GOMA and hang it up! Montague Road is a stone’s throw from Fish Lane, where you can enjoy some pre-session merriment or post-session cheer (we love the pizza and spritz at Julius). Or, right by the studio on the corner of Montague Rd and Hope St you’ll find It’s Still a Secret, a quirky 70’s inspired live-music venue and bar. There is limited street parking available, and underground paid parking available at GOMA. For those commuting, the Cultural Centre is right nearby.

Our second Brisbane Studio is on Little Stanley Street in the bustling heart of South Bank, nestled between cafes, restaurants, and bars galore. Day time session? Grab a coffee or smoothie from our friends at Cocobliss, or if you’re painting at night you can head over to Cowch for a post-sesh dessert cocktail. As for dinner options, you’re spoilt for choice! There is paid underground parking available in the South Bank Parklands, and plenty of public transport options including the Cultural Centre nearby. Oh, and no worries if you forgot to BYO—Malt Traders have you covered.
